What distances can I run or walk?

Whether you’re running for fun or looking for a sporting challenge, you can choose from 4, 8, 12, or 16 km. Walkers can participate in the 4 km walk.

What time does the race start?

The Port Oostende Charity Run will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026.
The Kids Run starts at 2:00 PM for children up to 12 years old.
All other distances, for both runners and walkers, start at 2:30 PM.

How much is the registration fee?

Kids Run: free of charge
Online registration (until April 26, 2026): €10
On-site registration: €15

Can I register on-site?

Yes, on-site registration is possible on Saturday, May 2, starting from 12:30 PM.

How can I be sure that I’m registered?

It’s possible that the confirmation email ended up in your spam folder.

Can I participate with my dog?

Participation with a dog is allowed. However, we do not recommend it for safety reasons, as the course runs through the port area.
Dogs are allowed in the supporters’ zone.

Is the course suitable for wheelchairs or strollers?

Wheelchairs and strollers are permitted, but please note that the course runs through the harbor area. Some sections are gravel, which may make it difficult to roll a stroller.

Is there a guarded cloakroom?

No, there is no guarded cloakroom.

Can I get a refund if I cannot participate?

Refunds are not possible. All proceeds from the Port Oostende Charity Run go to Koninklijk Werk IBIS.
