4 km through Port Oostende

During the Port Oostende Charity Run you get the unique opportunity to run through the Oostende port area. Get to know different companies, run over the REBO terminal and see the impressive ships moor.

Possible distances: 4 km, 8 km, 12 or 16 km

Would you rather walk? Then choose 4 or 8 km and walk at your own pace for the benefit of Koninklijk Werk IBIS.

Kids Run – Free running event for children

In 2026, the Port Oostende Charity Run once again hosts a free Kids Run in Ostend, specially designed for children up to the age of 12. This child-friendly running event is a fun and accessible way for young athletes to experience running and take part in a large-scale sports event.

Kids Run distances:

• 500 metres or 1 kilometre
• The distance can be chosen on site, allowing every child to participate at their own level

Participation in the Kids Run is completely free and forms part of the Port Oostende Charity Run, a family-friendly running event set in the unique port area of Ostend.
Parents, relatives and supporters are welcome to cheer along the course and enjoy the lively atmosphere together.

Accessibility
Public transport (station Oostende): You can reach MultiTech by public transport: the bus
Bus 2 Oostende Station-Bredene Groenendijk: Oostende Station platform 5 to Oostende Sluisplein (2 stops), then you walk another 450 m.

By bike: Are you from the area? Then come by bike. You can park your bicycle in one of the bicycle sheds at MultiTech.

By car/parking: During the Port Oostende Charity Run you can use parking facilities around MultiTech, follow the signs on site.

Please note: Esplanadestraat will be completely closed between 1 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. We recommend parking at Duin & Zee.
